Game Over are an Italian thrash metal band from Ferrara, founded in 2008. The group formed in the summer/fall of 2008 with vocalist and bassist Renato “Reno” Chiccoli, guitarists Luca “Ziro” Zironi and Alessandro “Sanso” Sansone, and drummer Marcello “Med” Medas.
In 2009, they released their first self-titled demo and the EP Heavy Damage, beginning to perform live across Italy. In 2011, the band signed with My Graveyard Productions and recorded their debut album at Domination Studio with Simone Mularoni (DGM, Empyrios). The album, For Humanity, was released in January 2012, during which time Anthony “Vender” Dantone joined as the new drummer. To promote the album, Game Over played shows across Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, including the 2013 Headbangers Open Air festival. In February 2014, the band returned to Domination Studio to record a new album, which was released on June 23, 2014, via Scarlet Records.
